History:
800 Years Ago
The Nara's came into being when Juubi blessed individual people to be able to control the shadows and attack with the shadows. They came together to form one of the first of many clans in the worlds history.
500 Years Ago
The Nara's helped build Konohagakure, also being one of the first clans to settle in the area. Once they came together, utulizing there shadow powers.
200 Years Ago
In the time, the Nara's helped hunt down the beasts, using their shadow powers to catch them and helped seal them. When the war start, the Nara's where on the front lines, fighting for their village.
150 Years Ago
When the war finally ended. The Nara's were one of the few clans that withheld their own and had many clan members remaining. Because of this, they were the one's mainly sent out on missions for the reason of other clans almost becoming extinct.
130-60 Years Ago
Between this time, nothing really happened because the Nara were still a powerful clan, still growing in exponential size. Many of the members were sent on missions for the village since they were one of the few clans that had enormous size, but they were attacked by the Akimichi clan in the middle of the night and half that clan survived.
Because of the attack the alliance between Kirigakure and Konohagakure was put into question for the clans actions. The Nara's were furious and demanded an explanation for the actions and got none. The kirigakure said that the Akimichi was but under examination to find out why they attacked.
20 Years Ago
During this time, the Nara's were still powerful clan, even though the lost of there fellow members, and with power comes a fierce civil war with the Yamanka's. This started when the Nara's accused the Yamanaka's of controlling the mind of one of their clan members into robbing a place and lighting the place on fire, and afterwards, killing the clan member. The Nara did this because they were simply jealous of Yamanaka clan for them being so strong and being able to produce beautiful offspring.
Although the Yamanaka's were found not guilty, the fight didn't end there when the head Nara clan member was sent a letter to meet them in the forest for a battle. The head Nara clan member agreed and their clans clashed in the forest on the outskirts of Konoha. The hokage at the time did not see a problem in this and figured it would solve many problem between the two. During the battle, many members on both clans died, resulting in both clans to forfeit and turning two great shinobi clans, into weak clans once again. After the battle the clan's formed a treaty to not bother each other again.
Current Time
With war about to break, all the Nara's are on their feet, but still jealous of the Yamanaka's. Not only will a shinobi war break out, but a clan war will also, which will be catastrophic. Plus, to there added hatred towards the Akimichi. They will must definitely pull a stunt on them, like they did to them.

Description: The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface and as far as they want as long as there is a sufficient area. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other at the same time if the user desires that (of course, to prevent hurting themselves, the user just has to have the shuriken holster in a place where you don't normally have it, like the back, so that the opponent draws nothing when the user draws a shuriken). If the target is out of range, the user can produce a better light source to increase their shadow's size or rely on pre-existing shadows for their shadow to freely travel through. It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction. The shadow can also be attached to people without binding them, letting the "victim" move freely. Doing that has the purpose that the person, the shadow was attached to, makes contact with a third person, to bind the latter one with the shadow.

Description: This is a ninjutsu from among the Nara clan's secret techniques that uses materialised shadows to attack and bind, instead of merely immobilising and controlling like the Shadow Imitation Technique. The user changes the shape of their shadow into several sharp needles and controls each separately. They can then attack several targets simultaneously and at the same time snatch away their ability to move by sewing them stuck with the shadow threads. Because it is a physical attack, it is impossible to capture someone without harming them, but on the other hand, since the speed of invocation and the time of duration are excellent, it can be used when urgent restraint is required.
This technique is usually used to go through the target and capture them, but depending on the opponent, it can also be used as an attack to bring them down. This special characteristic finds its greatest effect when used as logistical support. After this technique hits someone, it can then be directly transformed back into the Shadow Imitation Technique.

Description: A technique developed from the Nara clan's hiden Shadow Imitation Technique with combat in mind. It is possible to inflict direct damage to the enemy by transforming and moving shadows endowed with physical power.
It is possible to attack body parts like fingers and such by turning the shadow slender and to bind the opponent's body in order to restrain them. It was given its name because, above all else, strangulation is the most efficient method. The smaller the distance to the target, the greater the power of the shadow. This technique cannot be used for an extended period of time, as it weakens with each passing minute.

Description: This is a ninjutsu using materialised shadows, but compared to the Shadow Sewing Technique from the same line, this technique places emphasis on the minute control of the shadow's movements. It is accurate enough to even make the tentacles go through tiny holes. Basically, this technique takes the user's own shadow and transforms and stretches it into countless thin tentacles, which are then used to grab objects and pull them in. Also, one can skilfully make use of the tentacle-shaped shadow tendrils by using them to lift up and throw weapons like kunai and such. This technique has many possible applications and uses. There are no hand seals used for this technique, but the hand movements resemble that of Gaara's Sand Binding Coffin.

Just a note. You will need to include into each Jutsu how strong the shadows are and what speed they move at. This can vary depending on the size of ones chakra reserves or chakra control.
